Introducing Memphis Bowlin!

8lbs 7oz - 21.5 inches
Here's a very abbreviated birth story-
- Labor was induced at 6am
- Full force contractions started at 8am coming every 2 minutes
- Natural childbirth was thrown completely out the window and I accepted the epidural at 9am
- Sometime in the early afternoon, the doctor came in to break my water. Apparently though, my water had already broken at some point but no one knew when. Memphis obviously was very unhappy about this procedure because his heartrate dropped to 50. The doctors turned my pitocin off, rolled me on me left side, and started me on oxygen. After a while, it was determined that everything was back to normal and that Memphis was doing great.
- I was finally ready to push around 6:45pm.
- After 15 total hours of labor (2 hours of pushing), Memphis entered the world.
We are so blessed to finally have Memphis in our arms. It has always been my dream to become a mom. It seems so unreal most days that my dreams have finally come true. Now if only I could figure out a way to freeze time so that my new little man would stay this little forever :)
